Visit from Nairobi

Mr. George Jamba from our partnerschool in Nairobi, Kenya, has been to Denmark in order to explore ways of cooperating with Grenaa Gymnasium.

George Jamba thinks that student exchange between our schools is a possibility. Furthermore, we are planning to cooperate about issues of global importance, e.g. climate changes, trafficking and colonialism. The exchange of ideas will take place over Skype and a common internet platform.

During his visit, George Jamba, met with other partnerschools at a conference in Copenhagen. Furthermore he participated in a didactic day for all teachers at Grenaa Gymnasium with workshops about various new didactic methods.

George Jamba has now returned to Kenya, and we are looking forward to future cooperation with Nairobi Academy. See the pictures from George Jamba's visit in the gallery.
