The Pre-IBs in Aarhus

Cozy and cultured excursion to the museums of Aros and Steno

Fourteen students, two teachers, one car, one train. A dozen of train tickets - no ticket inspector, though.

Well, the train leaves just a minute late and off we go with books, earplug-music as well as some rather humorous games on phones the next ninety minutes.

In Aarhus we met with Kristen (our physics teacher) and continued by foot heading towards the Aros Art Museum.

At the meeting point, a guide would show us and tell about the contemporary art and its roots (from 1985 till today), where we witnessed everything from the installation-sculpture 'BOY' over installations in form of mirror-rooms and rooms of fog or dusty water to naked, pedophile photos of a little infantile. We also experienced state-of-the-art packing box taped to a wall.

We ended up on the roof of Aros walking through Your Rainbow Panorama by Olafur Eliasson.

Just about two hours passed by, we left towards Steno, where we had this exciting guidance through History of Astronomical Studies and a special presentation in the planetarium about the night sky and constellations of stars.

 When everybody came home tired from this rather indefatigable day, we encountered our supper individually at our respective residences and continued the next day evaluating.
