Study Trip to Gjellerup?

2.p and 2.q (HF students) went on a excursion to see the place that is widely debated in the media these days (Gjellerup is a neigbourhood near Aarhus with a somewhat bad reputation because of its social problems).

The students were guided by journalist Th. Estrup, who has written a number of articles for the Danish newspaper Jyllands-Posten about the region's new plans with Gjellerup.

Later on, Amsterdam is on the agenda is the object of a study trip which will deal with some of the same issues as the excursion to Gjellerup. The students will then visit Bijlmermeer which has been a souce of inspiration in Gjellerup's attempt to recreate its social and visual environment and reputation.
