Fantastic Musical

More than 800 people saw the musical "Across the Universe" performed by students from Grenaa Gymnasium

Thursday the 10th and Friday the 11th of March the assembly hall at Grenaa Gymnasium was really crowded. The musical of 2011, "Across the universe" was seen by app. 800 people and they had a really spectacular musical and visual experience. App. 90 students participated.

The ingredients were: 

• 30 actors/actresses
• 28 dancers
• 22 singers
• 9 Beatles-songs
• A well-playing band
• A number of students who have made props, costumes, light, sound effects etc. 
• professional visual effects spanding from pictures to video sequences
• 6 teachers

The rehearsal period prior to the show has been very intense lasting from the first castings and auditions in November, and the result was really convincing.
