IB Field Trip to Grenaa Beach

IB2 Biology has been on an excursion to Grenaa Beach from Monday the 14th of September to Tuesday the 15th. We did the exercise "Ecological studies along a transect", examining the composition of the plant as well as temperature, water content and organic content of sand samples along a line (a transect) in a dune. We also made an altitude profile of the dune and an investigation of the relative amount of invertebrates along the transect. We slept over in "Naturskolen".
