The First Days at School
Your first day
Only you first-year students are at school on the first day. You start in the Assembly Hall, where you will meet your classmates and be welcomed by the Head of School. After this you will eat breakfast together with your class, meet your class teacher team and receive your timetable.
Photos will also be taken, and finally there will be an orienteering race with fun tasks intended to help you get to know each other, the school and some of the teachers better. The winning class will receive a little prize at one of the first morning assemblies. Your first school day ends at approx. 2 p.m.
Pre-IB
We look forward to seeing you Monday 15th August 2011 at 8.40 a.m. in the assembly hall.

The first couple of weeks weeks
You follow your timetable from the
second day onwards, but you must expect a large number of timetable
changes at the beginning due to the many added social activities.
All the various lines of study require you to use many different
study and work methods systematically. Moreover, you will be given
a grammar course, a reading course, an introduction to Excel as
well as practice in project work.
The introduction is rounded off with a party, which you take part
in planning. This party will be on Friday 26th of August.
Study-trip to Karpenhøj
In the course of weeks 34, 37 and 38
all 1st year classes go on a two-day trip to Karpenhøj, an outdoor
pursuits centre near to the Fuglsoe Centre (Fuglsøcentret) on Mols.
While at Karpenhøj we will make our meals over a camp fire and
sleep in shelters.
The open-air activities involve teamwork, communication, and
establishing a basis for good social relationships; with everyone
doing their bit. Weather permitting, you will have the opportunity
of a trip on a mountain bike in the Mountains of Mols, and you will
be instructed in tree climbing.
