How Decisions Are Made

We believe that democratic participation helps you to become more responsible for your own education and development, and that this increases mutual respect at Grenaa Gymnasium. In the following sections you can see where decisions are made and what possibilities you have of taking part.

Co-determination in Lessons

When teaching is to be commenced in a new subject or started at a new level, you receive a plan of teaching from your teacher. The further you get in the plan of teaching, the more influence you have in the planning and carrying out of the teaching.

Together with your teacher you continuously evaluate and adjust the teaching. This can happen in many different ways, for example by talking to your teacher about how you consider the teaching is progressing and what you derive from it.

Similarly, you and your teacher can discuss the content and methods of teaching. Different kinds of test or exam can also be incorporated in the evaluation.
