Exams

Mock Exams

Mock exams are held at the end of the Pre-IB year, after the first IB year, and in March of the final IB year.

Pre-IB exam

There are written exams in the following central subjects: English, Danish (if not a foreign student), maths, and the sciences. Further to this, there are oral exams in English and Danish. All of these exams must be taken if you are to be accepted onto IB.

IB first-year exam

There are written exams in all of your subjects. These exams are important in helping assess whether or not you should continue onto the second year of the IB-Diploma course.

Final exams

The IB exams take place in May of the final school year. You will be examined in all of your six subjects. You will also do some examination components (i.e. portfolios and internal assessments) during the two IB-Diploma years that will count in your final result. Your examination result will be available from 6th July onwards.
