IB Marks

In awarding marks, the following 7-grade system is used for the two-year IB Diploma:

7: Excellent
6: Very good
5: Good
4: Satisfactory
3: Mediocre
2: Poor
1: Very poor

Danish Marks 

The pre-IB year is graded similarly to the grading system for STX and HF:

12: Is given for an outstanding presentation fully meeting the demands of the subject aims, with no or few insignificant shortcomings.

10: Is given for an excellent presentation meeting to a high degree the demands of the subject aims, with some insignificant shortcomings.

7: Is given for a good presentation meeting the demands of the subject aims, with a number of shortcomings.

4: Is given for a sound presentation meeting to a limited extent the demands of the subject aims, with several significant shortcomings.

02: Is given for a sufficient presentation meeting the minimally acceptable demands of the subject aims.

00: Is given for an insufficient presentation which does not meet the demands of the subject aims.

-3: Is given for a totally unacceptable presentation.
